What we do

Five services. Start with one.

Each has its own scope, deliverables and price, agreed in writing. Add another when the numbers justify it.

02

Technology Strategy

Independent advice before you commit capital: systems, team, security and cost reviewed; where AI and automation fit; a roadmap sequenced by value; an investment case finance can check.

  • Technology costs growing slower than revenue
  • Build, buy, automate or stop — decided on evidence
  • A roadmap and investment case the board can approve
03

AI & Business Productivity

We find where AI, automation and data science pay off, then build and run it: agents in your tools, hand-offs automated, machine-learning forecasts on your data.

  • AI opportunities ranked by value, effort and risk
  • Agents and automations in production, not stuck in pilot
  • Decisions on your data — dashboards, forecasts, models
04

Software & Technology Development and Management

New products, integrations, modernisation — built by us or by your own team under our management. Cloud-native, usually serverless on AWS; CI/CD, testing and observability from day one.

  • Products shipped to a plan, in code you own
  • Architecture built for scalability, reliability, observability, security and cost
  • Stalled or over-budget projects re-planned and recovered
05

Enterprise Technology & IT Services

Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS and GCP — set up, migrated, hardened and run. Single sign-on and MFA, managed devices, email that lands, cloud budgets and guardrails.

  • Security questionnaires and cyber insurance renewals answered with evidence
  • Starters productive day one, leavers locked out same day
  • Licensing and cloud spend trimmed to what you use

Capabilities & technology

Six capabilities. The technologies behind them.

Plain English for the executive; the specifics your engineers, auditors, insurers and investors will ask about.

  • AI, data science & analytics

AI agents inside your systems, repetitive work automated, analytics and machine learning on your data — governed, in production.

How we work

Four commitments. Hold us to them.

Most advisers have never shipped. Most builders have never sat at a board table. Our leadership has done both.

About Warp Vega
  1. 01

    Numbers before technology

Every engagement starts with a business result — revenue, margin, hours, risk — and how we will measure it. Technology follows.

  2. 02

    One team, no hand-offs

The people who scope the work do it, staffed to the level the job needs — no hand-off to a team you have never met.

  3. 03

    Capability you keep

Documentation, coaching and handover are part of the job. Code, accounts and documents sit in your name from day one.

  4. 04

    Secure, cost-aware by default

Security, reliability and cost designed in, not audited in later. This site: serverless, locked down, a few dollars a month.

Getting started

Simple to start. No lock-in.

No retainer before you have seen our thinking. Four steps; stop after any of them.

  1. 01

    Free consultation

    45 minutes · no obligation

We talk through your situation, goals and constraints. You leave knowing what we would do first — hire us or not.

  2. 02

    Diagnostic & proposal

    1–3 weeks · fixed price

Systems, team and numbers reviewed under NDA. A written assessment, ranked plan and priced proposal — yours, whoever delivers it.

  3. 03

    Engage

    Retainer · project · interim

Retainer, fixed-scope project or interim cover while you hire. Scope, price, deliverables, success measures and notice period — in writing.

  4. 04

    Handover

    You own it

Decisions documented, your people coached, results measured against the baseline. Your business runs without us; we are a call away.

Who you’ll work with

Executive-led. Staffed to fit.

Led by a former technology executive, with specialists in AI and data, software, cloud and enterprise platforms as the work needs. You pay for people, not overhead.

Our leadership has built engineering organisations of fifty-plus people across three continents, shipped consumer platforms used by millions, taken SOC 2 programmes through audit, and run mission-critical science data systems. Founded by Miles Jordan, Warp Vega works through a small team in Australia and Europe.

Questions

Straight answers before the first call

The things people ask before they book. Anything else — just ask.

How do engagements work, and what do they cost?

Three shapes: a retainer of one to three days a week, a fixed-price project, or interim cover while you hire. Day rates in AUD, EUR or USD, confirmed in writing. Retainers are invoiced monthly in advance; thirty days’ notice, either side.

How quickly can you start?

We reply within one business day; the free consultation usually happens that week, and a diagnostic within two weeks. Urgent needs — a failed migration, security incident or stalled project — can start directly. If we cannot meet your timing, you will know on the first call.

Is our data safe with AI, and who owns the work?

Your data stays in your accounts. We use enterprise AI services under terms that exclude training on your data, and agree a usage policy first. Everything we produce is your IP from creation, under NDA. Our access: named accounts, MFA, least privilege, ended at handover.

Can we buy just one service, without a CTO engagement?

Yes — many clients start that way: a product built, one painful process automated, an AI opportunity assessment, a Microsoft 365 migration, a strategy before a funding round. A single project commits you to nothing larger, and nothing we build is held on our side.

Do you work remotely and across time zones?

Yes. Our consultants are in Australia and Europe, so we overlap Australian, Central European and US East Coast working days. Most work is remote, in your tools — Slack, Teams, your repositories — with on-site time when it helps: board meetings, workshops, starting an interim role.

Can you work with our existing team, vendors and IT provider?

That is usually the point. We lead and lift the people and partners you have — internal developers, offshore teams, your IT provider — with the contracts, cadence and quality gates that make a supplier a delivery capability. Nobody is replaced for the sake of it.

How do you measure results?

We agree the number the engagement exists to move — revenue, margin, hours saved, cost, risk — and its baseline. For AI and automation: hours and error rates before and after, not a demo. We report monthly; if the number is not moving, you hear it first.

What don’t you do, and who are you not right for?

Not a recruitment agency, offshore development factory or help desk — though we can manage those suppliers. No vendor commissions. If you want the cheapest developers, or a strategy deck nobody has to deliver, we are not the right fit — and will say so early.

Which number should we move?
